TIME OUT IN BRUGES
With the elections over and a successful outcome for Dave and myself on Saturday 12th May we took a break and spent the day in Bruges along with a coach-full of friends and acquaintances from our local community.
We all arrived outside the Phoenix Surgery, bright and breezy, and at 6.30am the coach pulled away to catch the ferry to Calais and onto Bruges.
The weather was kind as we went off in groups to explore the Venice of the North and take in the atmosphere of a truly picturesque city and to sample Flemish cuisine and hospitality.
A great time was had by all and if you didn’t join us for St Omer in France last year or Bruges this year then you could be missing out so watch out for our next trip.
